Getting started
Create your first object
New object, template, name. A draft is created; create a QR code for it or assign a tag from a claimed kit.
QR code and link
Both the QR and the link lead to the same page. When you edit and publish the content, the address stays the same.
Add an NFC tag
In the object, open Tags and add NFC. Write the address to the chip as an NDEF URI.
Who can see the page
Public, link only, with a PIN, or just for you. A change applies immediately, including printed codes.
Traxola Start
A pack of tags with a claim code. Scan the QR on the card in the pack or type the code and the whole kit is yours.
Templates
Equipment and service, Storage, Event, Club and Nature trail. The template sets the parts of the page; you write the content.
Getting started
Do I need an NFC tag?
No. A QR code is enough: the object gets one when you create it, or you use a QR from a claimed kit. NFC is optional.
How do I claim a kit of tags?
Scan the QR on the card in the pack, or choose Claim kit in My Traxola and type the code XXXXX-XXXXX. You will see what is in the kit and choose what the tags belong to.
Tags
Does the QR change when I edit the content?
No. The content changes when you publish a new version; the address in the QR code stays the same. You do not need a new tag.
Can one object have both QR and NFC?
Yes. An object can have several tags, say a QR on the box and NFC on the shelf. How many depends on your plan.
How do I print a QR?
In Tags, open the tag and download the print PDF in 40, 60 or 80 mm. Print at actual size.
How do I move a tag to another object?
In the tag details, choose Move to another object. The printed code stays valid, it just leads elsewhere.
Content and publishing
Why do visitors not see my changes?
Saving only changes the draft. Visitors will see the changes once you click Publish… in the object details.
How do I make a page private?
In the object details, on the Who can see tab, choose Only you and editors or With a PIN. The change applies immediately.
Can someone else help me with the content?
Yes, with a paid plan. On the Managers tab you invite a manager by e-mail; they may publish only if you allow it.
Can a block be shown only for a certain time?
Yes. In the block editor, set When to show the block: from, to and time zone. It applies after publishing.
Account and payments
How do I log in?
With your email and password; your browser can remember them. If you have no password or forget it, we email you a login link.
I deleted an object by mistake
Deleted objects can be restored for 30 days from the Bin. After that the content is removed for good.
What happens when my plan ends?
Pages are paused and we keep the data for 30 days, then 14 more days to renew. Renewing brings back the same addresses and tags.
